Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: The impression is of great age. Big, mature truffley aromas: lilies tobacco, honeycomb/wax, black walnut, rancio, oak. Complex and dense.
Palate: Very soft and heavy. Honey, beeswax, beech woods, russet apple. In time a lighter nuttier side emerges. Chewy and weighty.
Finish: Dry and lightly perfumed. Heather.
Comment: Bosky, ancient.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Oak. Slight char. Beeswax. More flowery (peach blossom) and leafy when water is added.
Palate: Surprisingly fresh. Mint toffee. Sweet tobacco.
Finish: Dusty spices. Cinnamon. Ginger. Quite sweet.
Comment: A long maturation for a blend, but this has emerged with confidence, style and sophistication.
