Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Sweetness and smoke, a few floral hints too. Honey and heather flowers. a touch of smoked butter. Shortbread rounds with orange marmalade.
Palate: Follows the nose nicely with smoke and sweetness, but the spices quickly build, cinnamon and cardamon. A touch more smoke here too.
Finish: Quite sweet and short, leaves cinnamon and sugared almonds. A little malty edge too.
Comment: A decent well balanced drops, where smoke and sweetens play well together indeed.

Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: When you open the box of your new Dr Marten bursting with aromas of new leather. Peardrops, strawberry, cucumber and mint follow. The leather notes soften eventually to freshly washed linen.
Palate: A beautiful mix of leather, Caramac, mango and wood polish. There also seems to be a powdery bitterness that you get when taking painkiller tablets.
Finish: Quick and short with a lingering oily consistency too.
Comment: Easy going and to the point. Perfect session whisky.
