Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Whipped brandy butter, freshly cut pine, some strawberry notes which evelop into a port-like nose. If you let this sit, it really comes to life. Rich, deep and inviting.
Palate: Woooo, just enjoy the ride. Delicate yet packed full of flavour, this is all summer fruits, thick spirit and Jelly Tots. Sweet yet not cloying. This is a real charmer.
Finish: Maybe the only slight let down is the mildly over-sweet finish.
Comment: Was aiming for the bullseye, landed in triple 20. That’s just grand.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Coffeed with classic pot still hard graininess. Almost salty with a touch of sherried dried fruit adding sweetness. Slightly herbal with developing creamy vanilla notes.
Palate: Richer and juicier with barley and raisinated fruits. The pot still character is pretty hidden but attempts to assert itself. Subtle chocolate and citrus notes on the middle.
Finish: Long and grainy with a mouth-watering finish and slightly woody, mocha after-taste.
Comment: Enjoyable whiskey. The wood was a little intrusive on the palate, but the finish was superb.
