Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Mature and tropical with lemon zest, orange blossom honey, pear, peach and barley. Hints of gooseberry and citrus. Water emphasises the honey, barley and orange.
Palate: Luscious and honeyed. Wonderfully layered with more creamy oak. Good citric and mineral middle. Water emphasises the juicy orange and honey.
Finish: Long, crisp and mouth-watering citrus with hints of straw and herbs. Water makes the finish exceedingly juicy.
Comment: Now that’s how I like my Speys. Beautifully complex and layered.

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: There are classic Speyside notes here of heather, sweet oak, liquorice and honey. This nose is delightful and inviting, and does what a Speyside whisky should.
Palate: Again, on the palate this hits the spot; a classic easy-drinking Speyside with the right balance of oak age and spirit character, giving a well-balanced flavour.
Finish: Simple, medium-long and not too sweet.
Comment: A very well-made Speyside single malt which anyone should be happy with.
