Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: This is a really easy nosing whisky which gives lovely soft vanilla, white flowers and Cool Whip. It doesn’t do anything astonishing, but it doesn’t do anything badly either.
Palate: There is a good dollop of spirit at the heart of this whisky, but the surrounding flavours are quite vibrant, with peaches and cream and some Mint Aero chocolate bar.
Finish: Mint choc-chip ice cream gives this whisky a rather strange feel, as it moves from sweet and soft to minty vanilla.
Comment: A little unbalanced. With some tweaks this has potential to be a lovely dram.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Very soft and very oaky with a gin-like botanical character. I’m sure I can even detect some juniper! Hints of lightly oiled dried fruit and with time earth.
Palate: Soft and simple with gentler, more toffeed oak and oiliness. Brief hints of dried fruit and the grain nips gently along with a touch of gin-like botanicals.
Finish: Medium length and quite grainy with late hint of mocha and lingering botanicals and toffee.
Comment: It could almost pass for an oak aged gin!
