Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Slightly metallic (aluminium) start which then becomes more scented with sage and just a hint of soap. Underneath is a rigid hard quality, brass polish, new wood and red fruits. With water, scented tea.
Palate: More lifted and perfumed with lilac. The fruits have softened and sweetened. Begins to firm once more towards the finish.
Finish: Rigid.
Comment: Bold and well made. For me maybe just needs a bit more sweetness but worth a look.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Acetic. Nail varnish. Cooked apples and pears. Medlars. Sylvestry notes. Pine needles. Damp moss. This earth character rises up on time.
Palate: Crisp, tangy. Very leathery. Gives the sensation to chew some old satchel. Overripe pears. Reminds me of a rough Domfrontais calvados.
Finish: Dry, astringent. With that leather again.
Comment: The palate does not hold the promises of the nose. Disappointing. Where is that complexity picked on the nose?
