Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fresh with light creamy notes, scented, crisp oak, bracken, cut grass. In time a dry smokiness.
Palate: A good match between this delicate, slightly floral quality, a crunchy palate and light smoke. Balanced and restrained.
Finish: Creamy.
Comment: Well put together, but not as smoky as I recall.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intensely marine, briny, invigorating. Creosote, wet pebble. Dying bonfire by the shore.
Palate: The sweet maltiness followed by a phenolic dryness. Water brings out more sweetness and smoke. Garden mint.
Finish: Dry, quite lingering, slight bitterness. Chewed herbs coming back.
Comment: Definitely an Islander, tastes young. Could have more finesse.
