Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Heathery, slightly splintery, very light smoke. Sweeter with water. Vanilla. Quite distant. Lacks life.
Palate: Soft and sweet. Flows well. Orange crates, light soot, nutty.
Finish: Pretty short.
Comment: Though it flows well and has balance it just lacks complexity and energy.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grenadine. Biscuity. Shortbread. Becoming slightly nutty. Soft spices. Touch of cumin.
Palate: Sweet, too sweet. Syrupy. Barley sugar. Caramel. Coffee flavoured toffee.
Finish: Tightened up. Sweet all the way, then leaves a warm feel back in the throat. Rhubarb jam.
Comment: Nose and palate seem to be flattened by excess of sickly sweetness.
