Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty and oaky. Silvestry profile at first. Bracken, wet leaves. Pleasantly opening on fudge notes. Dry apple skin. In time, toasted bread.
Palate: Sweet and round. Fruit and oak are well intertwined. Stewed apples. Butterscotch. Soft spices.
Finish: Short, fudgy.
Comment: A simple, easygoing malt. With an autumnal profile. Conversational, perfect to share with friends.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Metallic and hard. Flat energy drink, greengage and aluminium. Immature: lots of young grain?
Palate: Sweet start and though green the flow is decent enough. Light and loses it with water.
Finish: Short.
Comment: I’m an Inchgower fan but I’d want more from a whisky of this age.
