Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Orange peel, walnut, caramel. Cinnamon. A heady floral note. Carnation. Beewax. Honey. The aromas are not integrated into a bouquet.
Palate: Sweet. The alcohol coated by sugar. Cinnamon, caramel and honey prevail. Cider apples.
Finish: Short but quite clean.
Comment: Difficult to assess a liquor among whiskies. There is something not “natural” about the aromatic display. But maybe in a cocktail, it could convey interesting flavours.
7.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Wood ashes mixed with honey and fresh herbs. Slightly harsh.
Palate: Immensely sweet and artificially flavoured. Flat sparkling orange drink.
Finish: Hard dusty and ash like.
Comment: This has the imprint of cold dead hand of marketing all over it. Avoid.
