Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: A thin crust apple and vanilla custard tart, drizzled with soft caramel sauce. There’s a freshness in among the toasty notes, like gorse bush and green grass.
Palate: Toasted brioche bread and butter pudding, with raisins, chopped dates and chocolate chips. Soft cinnamon spice and heather honey.
Finish: Lingers with you, with the cinnamon spice and caramel sweetness returning.
Comment: Lovely and rich, starting out all warming caramel and vanilla, before it adds in an array of complexities.

Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Oil paints, varnished oak, pear drop and fresh cranberry juice. Some leafy, herbal notes, like fresh oregano, basil and thyme. Wood bark and sap. Pomegranate’s fruity earthiness, too.
Palate: Full. Concentrated milk chocolate, toffee, blackberry sauce and cherry jam notes. Some dehydrated lemon and pecan, with lots of golden syrup. Candied ginger, with candied orange.
Finish: Long, on peanut. Then drying as cinnamon and nutmeg become more assertive.
Comment: Like enjoying Thanksgiving dessert in a big, old house.
