Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Perfumery. Light vanilla. A suggestion of tangerines. A hint of very dark chocolate.
Palate: Rich. Cream-filled pralines. Hazelnuts.
Finish: Gingery. Spicy.
Comment: I have not previously encountered such a full expression of Auchentoshan, but the style suits the whisky.
8.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Very citric: tangerine, lemon, alomst orange muscat, with light malt. Sadly, water drives the top notes away leaving mealy malt.
Palate: Sweet. Orange jelly. The sweetness stays alongside the malt. There's also a slight metallic edge.
Finish: Crisp.
Comment: Sweet and simple.
