Tasting notes
Taster   Marcin Miller
Nose: High alcohol and quite medicinal. Butterscotch hiding in background. Lightly vegetal when reduced.
Palate: Great presence. Forceful masculine and relatively unsophisticated. Banana and toffee.
Finish: Freshly cooked and buttered, al dente green beans. Gutsy but not long.
Comment: Unusual but a bit of a crowd pleaser.
8.0
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Lemon grass. Dry grass. Reedy. Cereal grain. Papery. Newsprint.
Palate: Starts with a dry maltiness. Lively development. Fruit pies: lemon meringue; gooseberry; pumpkin, the latter dusted with cinnamon and ginger.
Finish: Spicy, hot.
Comment: Quite assertive for Bladnoch. Not keen on the papery character. Quality of wood?
7.8
