Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Icing sugar dusted on top of a packed almond croissant, a hint of herbal sage, buttery white bread, peaches, cream and white chocolate.
Palate: Bread and butter pudding, with a herbal twist. More of that sage, intertwined with crumbly and sugary shortbread, peach slices in syrup and clove spice.
Finish: The finish is medium to long, with sandalwood and sage.
Comment: Honestly, this shocked me – it’s complex and takes you on a beautifully balanced journey. I’d definitely recommend this chappie.

Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Custard and puff pastry, ripe banana and stewed green apple with brown sugar. Lemon curd on pancakes. Some grassy notes.
Palate: Medium bodied. Concentrated notes of apple, banana, and fresh apricot with squirty cream. The fruits subside, replaced with vanilla, butter icing and delicate lemon zest. Porridge with lots of honey.
Finish: Medium length, sweet and creamy.
Comment: Big, bold flavours and really rather moreish. Something I could see myself going back to and recommending.
