Tasting notes
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: A barrel of red apples. Bay leaf, charred cinder toffee and delicately yeasty. Cumin, quince jelly and ground coriander seed. Wholemeal bread, serrano ham, and blanched almonds.
Palate: Medium-full bodied. Roasted sunflower seeds, well-aged prosciutto and fudge. Fig and apple chutney. Medjool dates and stroopwafel. Subtle florals dance in the top notes (calendula). A hint of eucalyptus.
Finish: Medium length, with sesame and toffee.
Comment: An excellent example of what a blend can bring to the table.

Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: A breakfast buffet of blackcurrant-covered pastries, a little ginger spice, sandalwood box and orange zest.
Palate: Very different here, getting dark and rich. Hints of tiramisu, with lots of creamy dark chocolate, some oaky spice and a little freshness.
Finish: The oaky spice continues here, with a hint of wood smoke and dark berries.
Comment: A solid sip with enough complexity to keep things interesting – it will not disappoint.
