Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: A lovely sweetness, orange flavoured sherbet and coconut macaroons. Then a trail mix, dried fruit and apple rings. As it develops, then vanilla and crystallised ginger ice cream.
Palate: A little oak grip that gives way to vanilla slices. A hint of dusty spices, cinnamon and all spice, and some charred wood.
Finish: All those spices come into play, fresh berries and cinnamon covered yoghurt.
Comment: Really well put together. One for drinking by an open hearth with friends, possibly over ice.
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Custard creams, crisp green apple skin, banoffee pie yoghurt and hints of morning dew, fresh cut grass, sugared almonds and coconut oil.
Palate: Highland Toffee bars, poached pears, green apple laces and coconut, with a touch of cayenne pepper and cinnamon custard at the back of the palate.
Finish: Well balanced and light. Short finish.
Comment: The perfect hook for converting non-whisky drinkers.
