Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Big rye bread notes, black cherries, blood orange and Angostura bitters. Then hay bales and turned earth. Some windfall apples and a distinct mushroom edge.
Palate: Menthol, then moves to orange sorbet. Some big grain notes, red cherry jam on sourdough bread. Air dried ham and then stewed apples.
Finish: Punchy. Chilli heat prickle and a long pepper hit. Bags of fruit too and a soapy note.
Comment: A heck of a curveball rye, really interesting stuff. Well worth a look.

Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Lemon zest, heather honey and orange marmalade. Hints of freshly pressed orange juice, chalk and hot salted popcorn.
Palate: Porridge drizzled with honey, praline pecans and treacle fudge. Floral notes develop into chargrilled honeydew melon, pork and green pepper kebabs and pine sap.
Finish: Floral and nutty with a subtle spice lengthening the finish.
Comment: Stuffing your mouth with as much salted popcorn as you possibly can.
