Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: A big city swagger with this. Self-assured, this is a new leather jacket, Black Jacks, and Big Red chewing gum, with a waft of oil burner smoke.
Palate: Unashamedly fruity, with an excellent balance of dryness to allow the fruits to flourish. The cinnamon from the Big Red means this lingers on the palate well.
Finish: The cinnamon carries on, working well with wood to give a rounded drink.
Comment: One to be consumed on its own – preferably swigged from a hip flask with a cigar.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Young, oily and slightly feinty with some sweet oak and corn beneath. A touch of herbal rye, marzipan, peanut butter, dunnage and chilli spice follows.
Palate: Oily, but not so feinty with soft, slightly singed corn, bitter oak and bitter, herbal rye. Not very integrated with both youthful spirit and tired old spirit notes.
Finish: Dry and bitter with lingering herbal rye, chilli spice, hickory and bitter chocolate.
Comment: Gives the impression of a worn out old spirit and revived by vatting in youthful spirit.
