Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Nose Takes its time but there is vanilla and citrus. A sherry mellowness as well. There is a little bitterness as well.
Palate: Bags of fruit going on here. Pears in custard, Chantilly cream, lime andpomegranates as well.
Finish: Shortish and spicy.
Comment: There is none of the bitterness on the palate, making for a tale of two halves.
7.7
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Shy. With an unpleasant turpentine note. Cardboardy as well. Opens on nicer notes. Lemon zest. Vanilla pod. All light and restrained.
Palate: Mellow and round. A lovely silky feel. Very fruity. Tinned peach. Vanillacustard. Passion fruit.
Finish: Drying on spices. With character.
Comment: Nose and palate are completely different. The second saving the first. The palate shows a beautiful Irish character whereas the nose is bland. So drink it without nosing it.
