Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: An initial hit of cream soda, with a delicate backing of foam banana penny sweets. Just a hint of oak and some vanilla.
Palate: The cream soda sweetness of the nose carries onto the palate, with coconut pineapple and other light tropical fruits wrapped in a vanilla bow.
Finish: Finish is grainy with a hint of oak.
Comment: If this is an entry level priced Scotch then things will be fine; any more expensive and it would be a no from me.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Distinct aromas of crisp and herbal grain spirit with hints of manure, bog myrtle, sweet barley and faintly astringent peat. A little soapy with time.
Palate: Opens with what appears to be a fair degree of herbal grain spirit. Lightly oiled malt with peat and subtle tarry notes on the middle. Quite straightforward but pleasantly crisp.
Finish: Long and grainy with a peaty, salty finish. The salt really lingers.
Comment: Appears to be a grain heavy blended whisky with the peated malt punching above its weight. However it’s an enjoyable, unpretentious dram.
