Tasting notes
Taster   Sam Coyne
Nose: Grilled fruit, particularly pineapple. Citrus and vanilla sits patiently in the background with just a little maltiness. Promises a lot!
Palate: Spice begins proceedings, with a prickle of alcohol up front. This is followed by fresh and bright citrus. Closes with a beer-like malt. Almost yeasty. A light mouthfeel.
Finish: Gentle, really quite satisfying with a sugary, barley finish.
Comment: Something really quite interesting with this one. Different flavours are balanced extremely well.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Another shy dram, but then gentle goat’s cheese, honey and digestive biscuits develop, with warming hay bales. The alcohol starts to prickle, water brings out butter mint sweets, pine forest floor. Becomes medicinal.
Palate: Warming caramel and digestives take the first wave, slowly moving into fruit and condensed milk. Crunchy grain and linseed oil.
Finish: Throat lozenges, menthol and prickly.
Comment: An odd number but once opened up it's good fun, layers of interest wash in.
