Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Gentle and shy at first, but then opens into crushed vanilla pods. Lots of breakfast granola drenched in oat milk and honey.
Palate: All that vanilla is here with plenty of honey. Lovely lushousness of a fresh Victoria sponge, all cream and strawberry jam, dusted with chocolate. A very soft burnt wood notes, like a distant bonfire.
Finish: Slowly dries out leaving a fresh citrus edge and a hint of saline. A bit of spice with crushed black pepper.
Comment: At first easy going, but reveals a spice with balance.
8.5
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: A little closed off and needs a little water to get going. Burnt banana skin, kiwi and almond butter with undertones of mildew creating an almost dusky element.
Palate: Fruity, woody and herbaceous. The banana skin definitely carries through onto the palate with cement, charred oak, honeydew melon peel and yoghurt covered raisins piercing through it.
Finish: Dry and chalky with a slight metallic edge to it.
Comment: Opening a cupboard on a hot day, whilst sipping banana smoothie.
