Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Medicinal. Light smoke. Farm courtyard. A fresh citrussy note. Lemon peel. White pepper. In time a floral note. Sea-weed.
Palate: Smooth, satin-like. Sweet maltiness, refreshed by a minty flavours. Light smoke again. A hint of tar and liquorice. So well brought together.
Finish: Long, drying on liquorice root.
Comment: An all-timer.Delivers Islay briny atmosphere.

Nose: The full seaside package, with fish, salt and seaweed and a touch of tar. Very Islay.
Palate: Surprisingly gentle and sweet, with milk chocolate in among the peat smoke.
Finish: Peaty, sweet, long and pleasant.
Comment: Just what you'd expect and want from this distillery.
