Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Deep, malty and herbal with sweet sherried dried fruit, cereal, rose petals, heather and Provençal herbs. Water pushes the sherry back and the spirit character shines.
Palate: Malt and cereal with hints of prune, raisin and treacle. Like the nose it is herbal and heathery with more emphasis on the sherry. Diluted, it highlights the toasty French oak and spirit character.
Finish: Long and herbal with rose petal, malt and French oak.
Comment: A really unique flavour profile. It might not appeal to everyone but I love it!

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Not at all diplomatic, this is a direct nose of big oak, some real Madagascan vanilla, blackcurrant leaves, mint and basil. There are some rich toffee notes, too.
Palate: Sour cherry, yuzu, kiwi fruit, green tomatoes and pickles. An odd balance of sweet and sour.
Finish: Bitter and long, the sour notes linger the longest.
Comment: This one is just too sour for me.
