Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Cherry flavoured hard sweets at first, with the soft, powdered sugar coating. Log fire embers, Bakewell tarts with raspberry jam, Cornbread slices with a little honey drizzle.
Palate: Big sweet fudge notes come in first, then runny caramel sauce with ice cream layered with chocolate flakes and cherry segments.
Finish: Sweetness all the way that eases slowly into toasted oak and vanilla at the end.
Comment: A good solid Bourbon with plenty of that Kentucky spirit to it. Takes me right back to those horse filled lands and bluegrass.

Taster Becky Paskin

Nose: Softened cashews, sweet, toasted corn on the cob, milk chocolate-covered toffee chews and freshly baked, crusty bread.
Palate: Riesen chocolate chews and Quality Street caramel pennies. Then rye bread, toasted hazelnuts and menthol as well.
Finish: Menthol rye spice and caramel.
Comment: A nicely balanced Bourbon with a bite.
