Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Waxed cotton, honeysuckle floral note. Chocolate granola and honey, a touch of linseed oil, cracked black pepper. Fresh brown bread and butter. Some sandalwood spices here and banoffee pie.
Palate: Tropical fruit salad, mango, griddled pineapple and maraschino cherries. Big sherry-soaked raisin notes. Palma ham and melon with cinnamon.
Finish: Short and a little fiery then Fruit Pastels and Violet Lip sweets.
Comment: Very punchy – think Lowlanders are light and gentle? Think again.
Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: A fruity sensation with strawberry laces, bubble gum and meringues and are joined by notes of pineapple cubes, jasmine, roasted figs and parma violets.
Palate: An overpowering flavour of herbal mint toothpaste, which gradually dissipates into strawberry jam, double cream, Turkish delight and a rich chocolate-coffee aroma.
Finish: Slightly dusty towards the end of the palate with a minty aftertaste.
Comment: Eating breakfast just after you’ve brushed your teeth.
