Tasting notes
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Ginger and malt, sultanas and dates.
Palate: Sweet and rich; tinned apricots, creamy spices.
Finish: Long and spicy, with citric undertones.
Comment: A very good whisky for those with a sweet tooth.
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Quite a musty, earthy nose. A wonderful old dunnage warehouse springs to mind. Inhale deeply!
Palate: Lots of full-on chilli heat at first, then dried fruits, oak spice, cracked black pepper and some gentle smoke in the background.
Finish: The finish is long and quite spicy.
Comment: Something of a hot firecracker of a whisky. Interestingly, the addition of water ramps up the smokiness on both the nose and palate
