Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Honeysuckle and lavender with a touch of chilli oil and coconut. Very much of the classic Speyside style and it develops well with time.
Palate: Medium body with a hint of oiliness, it gives a lovely white chocolate start with Royal Jelly coming in and finally some rich runny honey. Well balanced and well rounded. Works well with water too.
Finish: Sweet buttered popcorn, syrup and upside down cake.
Comment: I’m sure Whinnie the Pooh would love this, all runny honey sweetness.
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Beautifully mature and tropical with hints of green apple, gooseberry, apricot and barley. Slightly coffeed with some lovely honey and dusty oak.
Palate: Fresher and crisper with the emphasis on the white fruit, barley and mineral notes. Lightly honeyed with a more subtle oak character.
Finish: Fantastically long with lingering crisp green apple and citrus.
Comment: A lovely mature malt which skilfully blends maturity and freshness.
