Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Salt crackers and parmesan cheese. Sweetness comes with sea salt caramel ice cream. Melon fingers with ham. Has a touch of candle wax that moves to red grape juice, orange pith before becoming floral.
Palate: Smooth and very honeyed - doesn't give its ABV away. The sweetness subsides and the spices build. That melon note is there. Crumpets and borage honey.
Finish: Short and full of sea salt caramel, lingers with a floral note.
Comment: Like eating honey sandwiches on the beach.
8.7
Taster   Sam Coyne
Nose: Christmas cake, topped with marzipan and icing. There's a white wine note in the mix too, which is bright and inviting. Then we get a little bit of orange peel and vanilla.
Palate: Punchy upfront, but also very sweet. There's a lot of keen oak influence, prickling the tongue. It's one big chocolate orange, before out of nowhere a menthol note keeps everything light.
Finish: Green, more of the mint, with a middling-to-long length.
Comment: Decent stuff. Something for sweet lovers to indulge on.
