Tasting notes
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Liquorice, a waft of peat smoke/soot, butter caramel, some juicy blood orange, lavender and very milky coffee.
Palate: A touch of grain opens off the proceedings, then into sweet coffee, dusted with powdered liquorice, blackcurrant fruitiness, country fudge and a sizzle of lemon sherbet.
Finish: The fudge, grain and citrus sherbet notes all vie for your attention as thepalate dries.
Comment: Balanced and well put together, with enough bite to punch through.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Fresh and clean. Huge sweet fruit notes, cider apples, apple turnovers, honey roasted nuts.
Palate: Very sweet with tropical fruit juice and those pastry notes. Something savoury develops, pine needles and cob nuts.
Finish: Lush and drying.
Comment: A decent blend well thought out and put together.
