Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: There’s evidence of great maturity here, the dazzling spiciness is a giveaway.Lightly oily (linseed/rape seed) with pulp fruits, cinnamon, black banana, butterscotch, pollen.
Palate: Positive, assertive grip. That fine spiciness melds with thick autumn fruits as well as peaches in syrup, Mejdoul dates.
Finish: A little smoke adds to the complexity.
Comment: Slow maturation has resulted in a balanced and complex package.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Round, sweet. Cooked apples, pear drop. Opening on citrus notes. Tangerine juice, kumquat. Getting biscuity on time. Vanilla syrup. With water, bitter chocolate.
Palate: Rich, velvety. Oak quickly frames a sweet malty hint. Bee wax, toffee.
Finish: Warm, spicy, dry.
Comment: An old fellow obviously. Elegant, complex but oak is a bit loud.
