Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Dank forest notes, mulch, fresh tobacco leaves. A passing sweetness that merges into the green, leaf notes.
Palate: That forest note continues a little vanilla and oak sweetness lurks. Has a maltiness as well.
Finish: Short and crisp.
Comment: Challenging but that’s not a bad thing.
7.5
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy. Wet straw, slightly musty. Earthy. Mushrooms. Touch of angelica and garden mint.
Palate: Smooth at start then gets fizzy and tickles the tongue. The same mushroom and musty notes as on the nose. Distant vanilla.
Finish: Dry, spicy. Slightly astringent.
Comment: I like mushrooms but not so much in a glass! It is this musty note which gets so unpleasant.
