Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Furniture polish, burnt sugar, oak tables and a great lump of peat.
Palate: A sweetness builds among the spices. An Asian curry note then a little peat.
Finish: Short and spicy.
Comment: The gentle Islay malt shows its Janus face.

Nose: Intense. Elegant oak. Dried fruit. Candied orange.Tangerine.Dark chocolate. Caramelised nuts. Hint of peat.
Palate: Smooth. Sweet. Strong note of crystallised violets. Oak is more Hot spices. Chilli, ginger.
Finish: Dry and spicy. Liquorice.
