Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Musty. Damp cellar. Hint of chalk. Sultanas. Softens on time.
Palate: Dry, crisp. Wood is showing, together with dried fruit.Getting astringent.
Finish: Dry, astringent, spicy.
Comment: A dry character.Lacks elegancy and brightness.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Reminds me of a dunnage warehouse. Sweet, damp and enveloping.
Palate: Quite the opposite. Becomes sharp and crisp. The oak coming through with dried fruit notes.
Finish: Continues as sharp and spiced.
Comment: No messing with this but the shift from nose to palate was pretty marked.
