Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Fresh sawn wood, old leather gloves, hints of chocolate, soft red fruits.eventually a coffee note develops.
Palate: Another spiced firework laced with chocolate and those toffee notes. There is some soft fruit here too. Hints of tobacco.
Finish: Warming.
Comment: Shows great balance. Not the usual Diageo distillery release. Nice to seethe lesser known get an airing.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense and prickly. Malty. Cereal bowl with honey and dried fruit. Raisins.Dried apricot. Opens on creamy toffee notes. Hint of polished oak floor. Intime, mint chocolate.
Palate: Smooth at start then abruptly drying on hot spices. Giving a fizzy feel on thetongue. Oak gets grippy.
Finish: Warm, dry, oaky.
