Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy. Perfumy. Fresh and spring-time like.Almond milk, fresh coriander, carnations. Charming.Vanilla is gently swirling up, mingled with mint. Hint of marshmallow and Turkish delight.
Palate: Sweet, delicate. More marshmallow. Rose, with a slight soapy flavour. Lavender.Getting quite crisp.
Finish: Dry, crisp. Almondy.
Comment: Perfumy on the palate as well as on the nose. Quite surprising. Very pleasant until the soapy flavour develops.
7.5
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Rose water and fresh mown grass. Very delicate with vanilla and a little menthol.
Palate: Sweet vanilla. The oak gets a little grippy but is dominated by more floral notes.
Finish: Short and balanced.
Comment: An unusual Islay, but very likeable.
