Tasting notes
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Fresh pear and honeydew melon, ginger and newly cut grass. A soft malted biscuit like ‘Rich Tea’. Gooseberry and angelica, then shortbread and sweet pastry case.
Palate: alted lemons and crushed lemon grass. Proving bread dough, some saltiness and lollipop stick. Reminded me of grappa.
Finish: A symphony of freshness but drifts gently. Elusive but it rewards patience.
Comment: A delicate dram, certainly one for the summer.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Prickly at first, then icing sugar, pear drops, acetate sheets, a herbal quality. It becomes quite mossy and leaf mulchy in time, tree bark.
Palate: Fresh, fruity, honey and sliced apples, a gentle citrus edge, apricot jam, a lime peel note comes through.
Finish: Orange pith, barley sugar sweets and a little malt loaf.
Comment: A fresh fruity dram. A great refreshing pick me up whisky. A touch of water helps open it more.
