Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Grapefruit sorbet, creamy yet grainy, a malt crunch, pepper corns, distant coal fires, Barbour jackets.
Palate: Mellow autumnal notes, orange and lemon sherbet, malted milk biscuits, the tang of fresh orange juice.
Finish: Dries with powdery spices.
Comment: The ABV does not give away the punch this packs. Nicely put together.
Nose: Wet suede leather, crushed vitamin pills, a waft of burnt hair and candle wax. Given a little time, a coal tar soap note emerges, with crème caramel topping.
Palate: Slightly ashy, some residual sweetness and some malted drinking chocolate make themselves known.
Finish: Short, slightly thin, with a touch of sweetness too.
