Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Gentle wood smoke with a slightly grassy edge, warming bike tires, milk chocolate with toasted hazelnuts.
Palate: Laced with malt loaf and a kick of toasted rye bread. Some sweetness to it but quite dry, cinder toffee.
Finish: Drying with a little bitter fruit.
Comment: Not a bad everyday drinking whisky. Something to unwind with at the end of the day.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Very malty/nutty. Light inner tube/bicycle repair kit. Green almond and a delicate whiff of mace.
Palate: Hazelnuts and wholemeal flour which gives a general dryness to the whole experience. Hint of sweet berry fruits in the middle.
Finish: Crisp and clean.
Comment: It's fine, but a bit one-dimensional.
