Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Rich and dense. Toffee dominates but there are nutty layers, creamy oak and just a hint of smoke.
Palate: The richness continues with a great oak grip and spices. A lush sweetnesscoats the mouth.
Finish: Rich and spicy.
Comment: A good example of this distillery. Doesn't swim too well.
8.3
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sharp but fragrant. Rich toffee. Creamy cappuccino. Candied chestnuts. Medjoul dates. On time, raisins and nuts chocolate bar.
Palate: Velvety, mouth coating.Less prickly than the strength would let expect. A luscious enveloping malty sweetness leads way to a drier spiciness. Bitter with water.
Finish: Dry, medium long.
Comment: Funny enough, that strong dram is better neat. But give it time.
