Tasting notes

Taster Bethany Whymark

Nose: Crystallised pineapple, lychee, cantaloupe melon, and peach foam sweets. Whole-milk vanilla latte. Banana bread with walnuts and chocolate chips. Cedarwood-scented candle.
Palate: Medium. Banana bread, candied orange peel, cinnamon, walnut, banana chips, pear drop, meringue, red fruit compote, and vanilla cream.
Finish: Medium-long. On caramel puffed-rice bar, hazelnut, and orange zest.
Comment: A sweet malt character shown off with panache.

Taster Christopher Coates

Nose: Foam banana sweets, white flour dough, beeswax, rice pudding with apricot jam, and peppermint oil.
Palate: Light. Plenty of bright, ripe pear and orange jelly notes. Chantilly cream and flapjack.
Finish: Short, on Jaffa Cake.
Comment: Simple stuff, without fault.
