Tasting notes

Taster Phoebe Calver

Nose: Absolutely packed full of fruit and nut chocolate bar, with plenty of raisin, walnut, and green apple skins, and a hit of spice.
Palate: More of the chocolate, this time on top of digestive biscuits, Christmas pudding covered in brandy, and orange peel.
Finish: Packed full of that brandy-covered Christmas pudding.
Comment: A sweet and spicy treat, with complexity and approachability in spades here.

Taster Christopher Coates

Nose: A big nose of musty wood spices, oak shavings, and metallic notes like coins or worked iron. The aroma then opens up with blackcurrant leaf, bramble tea, orange zest, and slightly sweet tamago sushi or pastel de nata.
Palate: Medium bodied and fairly rich, with brandy snaps filled with orange-infused cream. Cinnamon sugar and All Bran cereal.
Finish: Medium, with Bournville chocolate combined with wood and alcohol spices.
Comment: Lots of spice and cereals, but it has a sweet side, too.
