Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Orange sherbet sweets, those old school refresher chews.A floral edge comes through, roses and honeysuckle. Malty, digestive biscuits. The oak comes through with a dunnage warehouse vibe, damp oak and earth.
Palate: Orange barley water mixed with kiwi fruit and a little lime cordial. Caramac bars, condensed milk and bananas. That malty edge is here too with digestive biscuits and fruit malt loaf.
Finish: Sweet and caramel laced.
Comment: Decent integration, just lacked a little something.
Taster   Sam Coyne
Nose: Floral, but also rather earthy. Could easily be sniffing around in some open fields. A faint maltiness harbours around in the background.
Palate: A little sweeter, with honey, than the nose, but the maltiness becomes more prominent and starts to underpin. Fruit salads.
Finish: The sweetness has become earthier than the palate, but it is all gathered up in the malt note.
Comment: An enjoyable dram that is unlikely to offend anyone. Smooth around the edges.
