Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Lightly fragrant, with grass, camomile and mint.
Palate: Light, flowery and dry. Camomile and spearmint. Very distinctive, but slightly spirity.
Finish: Potpourri, flowery, slightly sharp.
Comment: Rosebank is a delicate whisky, but just a touch more wood-extract would hold together its flavours.

Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Horribly unbalanced mixture of new make and sappy oak. The malt is merely incidental.
Palate: Sweet, malty and, er, that's it .
Finish: Almost sickly sweet. The oak remains off-key.
Comment: The label quotes my devotion to Rosebank at 8 years. I'm not devoted to it in this form. The cask this malt was filled into must have been exhausted as the whisky is closer to a 2 Years Old in character. The only good point is that there are no off notes.
