Tasting notes

Taster Phoebe Calver

Nose: A lot of sweetness, with poached pear slices soaked in cinnamon, complete with a dollop of mascarpone and wafer-thin biscuits.
Palate: More of the orchard fruit notes appearing, with malted milk biscuits, lemon and honey tea, and a thin pie crust with cinnamon spice reappearing.
Finish: Lingering and rich, with notes of pear and almond tart.
Comment: Really lovely balance between juicy fruit notes and complex spices.

Taster Christopher Coates

Nose: Fanta and vanilla ice cream float. Subtle lime zest. Sourdough donuts with apricot jam filling. Honey nut cornflakes with milk. Dried apricots.
Palate: Medium-full. A medley of candied orange, white chocolate buttons, lemon and lime boiled sweets and more honey nut cornflakes. Subtle peanut brittle, too.
Finish: Medium, on the orange and peanut notes.
Comment: Immensely summery and quaffable.
