Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Oolong tea, preserved lemon light and clean hard caramel, then comes strawberries, oak lactone, little hint of oiliness. With water it’s chocolate biscuits, fragrant oak.
Palate: Immediate and direct. Quite fat, jammy and tongue-coating. Builds steadily to the back palate. Stewed apples.
Finish: Lightly oaky.
Comment: Has a lovely pooling effect on the palate.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Has a strange scent remenicent of raspberry juice. There’s oak in here, sweet oak and just a little sulphur.
Palate: A little bitter at first but then comes garden herbs and fruit compote.
Finish: Gentle.
Comment: A decent dram for autumn.
