Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Big coconut note mixed with perfumed notes, resin, sequoia then the citrus oils and a touch of smoke. Highly concentrated. With water there’s buttery oak and cigar box.
Palate: Surprisingly soft and supple for the strength. Good wood interaction. Robust and sherried. Supple and clean with a light leathery touch.
Finish: Grippy.
Comment: Glossy and substantial with a slightly bitter undertow.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Spirity, prickly. The alcohol bite is so aggressive. Maybe a floral note. Some mint too? After a while, the alcohol settles down and leads way to toffee and a citrussy note.
Palate: Burning at first, then a sweet malty flavour prevents the tastebuds from being totally numb. Oak grip.
Finish: Still warm with a bitter oaky note.
Comment: Too oaky? Too young? Both? It certainly cleans a blocked nose but where is the enjoyment?
