Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Citrussy, very aromatic. A distant dry smokiness swirling up. A mineral touch (wet pebble). Then a fruity whiff of ripe peaches and pears. All is wrapped in a delicate honeyed veil.
Palate: Rich, silky, enticing. Oily, getting drier on the tongue as spices burst out. Some green gage flavours mingling with spices.
Finish: Lemony, drying on ginger.
Comment: A charming nose with a less delicate palate but altogether a refreshing dram.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Very sweet start with light smoke. Clover honey and woodsmoke. With water becomes dramatically drier and then a rubbery note.
Palate: Very sweet when neat then the smoke charges onto your tongue. The diluted palate is better than the nose to start.
Finish: Phenolic.
Comment: If you are going to drink it do it neat.
