Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: White chocolate/Milky Way and marshmallow. All very up and light, but there's a suggestion of age..aslightly brassy note.Steamed golden syrup pudding, vanilla and juicy fruits
Palate: Fresher and more floral than the nose. Pineapple, grapefruit and blossom.Lovely.
Finish: Those juicy soft fruits again.
Comment: Lovely. Has retained freshness (or taken a long time to get here.
8.2
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Oak at first with a mix of sawdust and young oak sap. Then sweeter notes rise. Caramel, vanilla fudge.Distant.chicken broth.
Palate: Velvety, round. Spices cover sweet flavours and dry the palate. A hint of Marmite spread. Black pepper.Roasted hazelnuts.
Finish: Dry,somewhat grippy and astringent.Oak speaks up.
Comment: On the oakyside. Too old? Lacks subtleness.
