Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sweet, clean bouquet of autumn fruit. Ripe apples, cooking pears, a touch of grape. All framed by an elegant oakiness. In the back, a hint of toasted bun. A citrussy note.
Palate: Beautifully balanced. Smooth and velvety. The flavours open like a blossoming flower: gently, displaying interlaced fruit and oak.
Finish: Creamy, toffeish, with just a dry spicy punctuation.
Comment: Mature, balanced, elegant.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fragrant. Custard and créme brûlée, quince, baked apple (almost the pastry of an apple pie as well). Hint of vetiver. Balanced oak.
Palate: Gentle and soft in feel. Lightly sugary with a hint of mint and plenty of floral character. Balanced.
Finish: Long, quite sweet.
Comment: Well balanced and with real charm and some complexity.
